Local family-owned developer, Truman, has partnered with Marriott International Inc. to bring Calgary’s first luxury hotel and residential offering to The Culture + Entertainment District. The W & JW Marriott Hotel & Residences will span two towers and will be among Western Canada’s tallest residential buildings, transforming the city’s skyline.
Located at 15 Ave and Macleod Trail S.E. the property is just steps away from the BMO Centre, Stampede Park, and the future event centre, Scotia Place.

The W Calgary
The taller of the two towers, standing 69-storeys high, featuring 157 hotel rooms along with 239 residences. Guest and residents can relax in the 14,700 sq. ft. spa, dine at a specialty restaurant and take in the views at the rooftop bar among other amenities. A publicly accessible observation deck will invite visitors to look down at all the action of The C+E to the east and take in those epic views of the Rocky Mountains to the west.
The JW Marriott Calgary
Featuring 248 hotel rooms and 120 residences over 62-storeys, this tower includes an indoor and outdoor pool, market, garden, retail and more.
Residences will be located on the upper floors of each tower. The W is expected to be completed in 2029, with the JW following shortly after in 2030.
