The annual Dog Mayor of The Culture + Entertainment District campaign is back and we are calling on all the paw-liticians in Calgary to put their best paw forward to run for office.

Key Campaign Dates
Nominations kick off September 12 and our new Dog Mayor will be announced on October 25. Add these dates to your calendar and don’t miss a moment of the most anticipated election of the year!
Nominations: September 11 - 27
Stop by Pixel Park (314 12 Ave SE), Fridays to Sundays between 12 - 6pm to nominate your dog. Don’t forget to check in with our team to pick up your limited edition swag!
Campaign Portraits: September 12 + October 3
Capture your doggos official campaign portrait (complimentary of course!) at one of the following photo sessions. Candidates must have their dog portrait taken to advance to the Top 10.

On top of having the distinction of being recognized as the official Dog Mayor of The C+E, the district’s top dog will also receive the following:

Official Duties
What comes with the title (besides the treats)? The title comes with more than just bragging rights — it comes with doggy duties:
Be a good ambassador for The Culture + Entertainment District.
Be available to attend a few key events throughout the year (like pop-ups, photo ops – or even walking in a parade). An honorarium will be provided for select events.
Be willing to be featured on The C+E’s social media with photos, fun facts, and updates from the "mayoral office" and collaborate on social media posts with The C+E.
In other words: if your pup wins, expect to have a little fun with us! 🐾
